We spent two wonderful weeks with family and friends in Germany and then prepared to fly, via El Al to Tel Aviv. We had many people asking, "Why do you want to go there?" Miss Mattie Perry at Her Office

"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."" (I Th 5:24)

In 1938 one of Sister Perry's new arriving students at God's Bible School wrote: Miss Perry's office is small but attractive, interesting, homelike. One's eyes are caught and arrested by the unusual Scipture Mottoes. Just above her head as she sits at her desk is the text: "Occupy till I come"; another at the right, "I will come again and receive you unto myself." On the window curtain hangs this searching reminder of His coming:

WHEN JESUS COMES.
GO to no place where you would not like to be found
WHEN JESUS COMES.
SAY nothing that you would not like to be saying
WHEN JESUS COMES.

To her left against the wall stands a large glass cabinet in which are artistically displayed her trophies from the Holy Land; just above hangs a large panoramic picture of Jerusalem. In one corner of the room are shelves stacked full of books of her own writing ....
